We Believe
Worship of God should be Spiritual. Therefore: We remain flexible and yielded to the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.

Worship of God should be Inspirational. Therefore: We give a great place to music in our worship.

Worship of God should be Intelligent. Therefore: Our services are designed with great emphasis upon teaching of the Word of God that He might instruct us how He should be worshiped.

Worship of God is Fruitful. Therefore: We look for His Love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have truly been worshiping Him.

Bishop   Elaine   Stanovsky   appointed   Rev.   Troy   Lynn  Carr,  as   pastor   of   Grace   United Methodist Church, Seattle, Washington July 1, 2018.  Rev. Troy Lynn Carr served BrynMawr   United   Methodist   Church   in   South   Seattle   from   2016   -2018.    Rev. Carr holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work from Roberts Wesleyan College,Rochester NY, a Masters of Divinity from Lutheran Theological Seminary (now UnitedTheological Seminary), Gettysburg, PA,

Carr is humbly honored to be elected to serve as a new board member with the ChurchCouncil   of   Greater   Seattle,   where   she   will   serve   with   the   committee   on   communityengagement. Rev. Carr is an ordained Itinerant Elder in the AME tradition.

Danete 0'Neal

Danete 0'Neal

Director of Music

Danete is a highly regarded collaborative pianist who accompanies vocalists, instrumentalists and choirs extensively. She is currently the choral pianist and Music Director at Grace United Methodist Church, accompanist for the Lucinda Maxey Vocal studio, and choral accompanist for The Boeing Employees Choir as well as Cora Voce.
A native of Washington, Danete began playing the piano at age five. She graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor’s of Music degree in Piano Performance.
Her accompanying credits have ranged far and wide.
